Noah majored in Biological Sciences in NTU. Having a strong interest in neuroscience, Noah is particularly interested in how aging and age-related neurodegenerative diseases affect various facets of cognition that make us who we are. Noah aims to study the molecular mechanisms of age-related cellular dysfunction and degeneration with a particular interest in glial cells, in the hopes of identifying therapeutic approaches to prevent or reverse the cognitive decline associated with aging. At the Yang Lab, he is investigating the role of epigenetics in the aging process, and is particularly interested in exploring how epigenetics might be contributing to a loss in cellular identity.
