Researcher
Selin received her M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from Seoul Women’s University. Before beginning her research career, she worked as a clinical dietitian in a hospital, where she observed how patients’ physical condition, muscle function, and metabolic health affected their treatment process and quality of life.
These experiences led her to become interested in aging. She believes that reversing age-related decline could help prevent many diseases in advance and allow people to maintain a better quality of life even when they face illness.
She is interested in exploring strategies to reverse age-related cellular decline by connecting her background in metabolism, nutrition, and molecular biology. Although reversing aging remains a challenging goal, Selin believes it is not impossible and hopes to contribute to research that can positively impact the lives of many people, including her family and friends.
